As much as I like my original 3-inch utility knife design, I wanted to make something just a little larger and with a more pointed tip. This knife is the result of that desire. The blade is made out of O1 tool steel, and the blade length is a little over 3.25 inches. I have been very satisfied with the performance of O1 tool steel on my smaller knives. I can get the hardness around 60-61 with my heat treating methods, and it holds an edge very well. It has single ply grey and black G10 handle scales with orange liners and copper and orange G10 handle pins.
This blade is large enough to use on heavier task, but still small enough not to be cumbersome for every day carry. The Kydex sheath has a reptile pattern on the front and is solid orange on the back side with two Utili-clips attached. Aesthetically, the sheath compliments the colors in the handle very well. Overall I am very pleased with how this blade turned out.
