A handmade knife for your journey

A handmade knife you can be proud to own and confident it will last

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Please browse around and look at some of my work. My gallery of work will grow as I make more knives. If you are interested in purchasing a knife from me, I will make knives as often as I can, and post them for sale when available. It will be first come first serve, so the first one to pay for the knife will be the one who gets it. You can sign up for my newsletter and I will notify you when knives become available. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about a knife, or if you just want to say hello!

Each knife is handmade and heat treated individually by me.  Since they are worked as individual knives, they will have slight variations in them compared to other knives I have made of the same general profile.  I want to provide you with the best knife I can make, this includes being comfortable in hand and be reliable.  Nobody knows it all, especially me, so there is always room to grow, something to learn, and skills to hone.  I will do my best to price my knives appropriately for my current skill level in regards to fit and finish.  I do this by evaluating feedback from customers, other knife enthusiasts, and my own experience with knives.

One thing I have learned about this journey of life we are all on is that the journey provides us with experiences, some good, some bad, but we can learn and grow from both.  I grew up in the outdoors hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and off-roading.  In my opinion, I have had no tool more useful to me in the activities of my life than a good knife.  Three things that are important to me in a knife are toughness, good edge retention, and comfort. A knife is a tool, and the tool should fit the task. With any job, having to continuously sharpen a knife after light use is frustrating.  Providing the right balance of toughness and edge retention with the steels I use for making my knives is very important to me.  Your knife should be a tool you can depend on to perform when you need it to!  Whether I am on a mission trip in a place like Nepal and Kenya, or at home in Georgia, I want to have a good knife with me, and that is what I want to provide for you on your journey in life…a good knife!
